SensoNODE Silver - Report Rate - LED Behavior

OVERVIEW:

There are 3 LED lights on the SensoNODE Silver cellular PCB board. The 3rd LED light (the right-most LED when looking directly at the sensor) is used to indicate the report rate of the SensoNODE Silver device to the VoM Cloud.

LED BEHAVIORS:

When the 3rd LED blinks purple fast, it indicates which of the three preset report rates is currently configured. The three preconfigured report rates are:

  • once every 20 minutes - 1 purple LED blink

  • once every 4 hours - 2 purple LED blinks

  • once every 8 hours - 3 purple LED blinks

Note: A fast turquoise LED blink indicates a telemetry interval has been set via the VoM Cloud device twin which DOES NOT match one of the three preconfigured report rate options.

BUTTON BEHAVIORS:

Enter configuration mode: long-press (>1 and <5 seconds) the button.

While in configuration mode: short-press (<1 second) to advance to the next preconfigured report rate option.

While in configuration mode: if no button presses are detected within 5 minutes, the SensoNODE Silver device exits configuration mode WITHOUT saving any changes.

Exit configuration mode: long-press (>1 and <5 seconds) the button, and saving the new configuration.

Note: if the SensoNODE Silver device is connected to the cellular network and the VoM Cloud, a data packet is sent immediately upon exiting configuration mode, and subsequent packets are sent at the newly configured report rate. If the configured report rate is >= 4 hours, the device will be in discontinuous MQTT mode, and will connect to Microsoft Azure (as required) to send a data packet.
