Why will SensoNODE Blue not connect to Galaxy S9 or later

Galaxy S9 or later have had some potential issues with connecting to SensoNODE Blue sensors. Here are a few troubleshooting tips to help. 

  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled
  • Confirm it is disconnected from all other devices.
  • Check to make sure the Bluetooth device is not connected to the phone directly under Bluetooth devices. If it is please disconnect it and connect it through the app itself.
  • Allow your location to be shared with the app. It should ask when you first use the app. If not. please go to setting, app & notifications. Find the SensoNODE app and enable location permission
  • Location needs to be turn on to work. Pull down menu from the top of your device and enable location (Why does Voice of the Machine Mobile App need location permissions (Android))
  • Uninstall the app and reinstall it.
