SensoNODE Silver LED Behavior

The three multi-colored LEDs on the SensoNODE Silver sensors are used to indicate the status of (from left to right) the network, the cloud connectivity, and the operation of the sensor’s sensing element. Except at startup and when in configuration mode, the LEDs blink on a 60 second schedule, spaced 2 seconds apart, making it possible to discern the pattern on each LED separately.

Powering the sensor on, produces the following sequence: the three LEDs cycle through red, green and blue. This is a functional test and indicates the device is active.

LED 1 (left LED): Purpose is to indicate network connectivity

  • Green blink every 60 seconds:  Connected

  • White blink every 60 seconds:  Searching

  • Red blink every 60 seconds:  No Sim Card

LED 2 (middle LED):  Purpose is to indicate cloud connectivity

  • Green blink every 60 seconds:  Connected

  • Yellow blink every 60 seconds:  Intermittently connected.  The device is NOT connected, but there are no known conditions that will prevent it when it is required

  • Red blink every 60 seconds:  Failure to Connect

LED 3 (right LED):  Purpose is to indicate sensing status

  • Green blink every 60 seconds:  Sensing Working

  • Red blink every 60 seconds:  Sensing Failure

  • Note:  The round PCB board will illuminate its red LED continuously if it cannot talk to the measurement daughterboard - similar behavior as on the SensoNODE Blue and SensoNODE Gold sensors and transmitters.
