How Do I Login to My SCOUT Edge System?

SCOUT Edge requires several things to login for the first time. 

• Gateway loaded with SCOUT Edge software
• Access to an interface displaying which devices (and their associated IP addresses) are connected to the network
• Computer with a web browser
• Username and password
• License key

Once the aforementioned items are within your possession, follow the steps below to login to SCOUT Edge.

1. Use the included electrical plug to power-up the gateway
2. Connect the gateway to the desired network, causing the network to assign a DHCP IP address
3. Note the IP address associated with the gateway loaded with SCOUT Edge
4. Enter this IP address into your web browser's address field
5. If a security warning displays, accept the notification and continue navigating to the IP address (you may have to click Advanced)
6. Enter the username into the correct field
7. Enter the password into the correct field
8. Continue by clicking the button
9. Enter the license key in the correct field
10. Continue by clicking the button
11. Navigate through the various options by using the left-navigation menu
