SensoControl Diagnostic Hand Meter Calibration

Do SensoControl Diagnostic hand meters require calibration?

Answer

It depends. Our analog hand meters are subject to calibration requirements because they receive a voltage input signal and then process that signal into numbers for the screen. As such, a risk for an error in the displayed measurement value can exist.

Conversely, CAN-based hand meters do not require calibration. In essence, they only display the packet of digital information produced by the sensor. As a result, the CAN sensor’s output is the
critical element for measurement accuracy.
