Can a Sensor Communicate with Multiple PRNs?
Answer
No. A SensoNODE™ Gold sensor cannot transmit its measurement to multiple Primary Receiver Nodes (PRNs). A SensoNODE™ Gold sensor can only be joined to a single PRN. Only this PRN will receive the measurement, which then transmits the measurement to SCOUT™ Cloud or SCOUT™ Edge.
There is one case where the answer is more complicated. When a PRN is setup as a repeater (to extend the range of the SensoNODE Gold™ sensor), there are two PRNs involved. The PRN which is setup as a repeater does not have any SensoNODE™ Gold sensors joined to it. The PRN repeater's only job is to pass all measurements it receives to another PRN in-range. There is NO ability to set the PRN repeaters up in series to extend the range further.
