Using Voice of the Machine Edge to change polling rate (How to Update Sensor Rate)

Warning

Changing the sensor rate will reduce battery life.


The fastest possible rate is 100 ms (Poll Rate = 0). We do not recommend using this rate due to decreased battery life and potential loss of signal. Battery may only last a few days or weeks. This is due to the radio board always being on. 

We recommend 750 ms (Poll Rate = 1). It will be stable and help with battery life. It will not greatly increase the battery life but it will give you another week or two.
