If sensor goes below operating temperature range, will the sensor function normally once back to acceptable range?

Answer

A cold sensor would operate again when returned to the stated operating temperature, provided the battery is undamaged and the sensor’s ‘on’ button is cycled. If the battery is damaged it will require replacement.
