How Do I View Sensor Data in My SCOUT Edge System?

Answer

Once logged into the SCOUT Edge system:

  1. Click on the Flows tab (within left-navigation menu)
  2. Click on Go to Flows
  3. Drag Datahub Subscribe to the main screen (located under SensoNODE within left menu)
  4. Double-click Datahub Subscribe icon (within main screen)
  5. Type devicehub/sensonode/<serial_number> (within Topic field)
  6. Type desired <name> (within Name field)
  7. Click Done
  8. Drag debug to main screen (located under output within left menu)
  9. Double-click debug icon (within main screen)
  10. Type desired <name> (within Name field)
  11. Click Done 
  12. Drag a wire between Datahub Subscribe and debug icons
  13. Click Save (in upper-right corner)
  14. Click debug tab (located at the bottom-center of main screen)
  15. Sensor data string should now populate in the debug tab (drag bottom-center tabs upward to view, if necessary)
